Teen Patti is the three-card game played at family gatherings across India, and the Spin777 table follows the traditional rules. Each player gets three cards and the best hand wins the pot.
What makes Teen Patti different
It helps to know how rare each hand really is. With three cards from a 52-card deck, a trail (three of a kind) comes up about 0.24% of the time and a pure sequence about 0.22%. A normal sequence appears around 3.3%, a colour about 5%, and a pair roughly 17%. About three hands in four are just high card.
In practice that means most rounds are won with surprisingly ordinary hands. Players who bet hard only on pairs and better, and pack the rest, usually last much longer than players who chase every round.
How to play Teen Patti
- Every player puts in the boot amount and receives three cards face down.
- Play blind (without looking) or seen (after looking); seen players bet double the blind stake.
- On your turn you can chaal (bet), pack (fold) or ask for a show when two players remain.
- Hand ranking, high to low: trail, pure sequence, sequence, colour, pair, high card.
Tips before you play
Learn the hand ranking first — most beginner losses come from misreading a colour against a sequence. Packing a weak hand early is a smart move, not a failure.

Frequently asked questions
Which is higher in Teen Patti, a colour or a sequence?
A sequence beats a colour. The full order is trail, pure sequence, sequence, colour, pair, high card.
Is it better to play blind or seen?
Blind play costs half as much per bet but you decide without information. Many beginners play seen so they know what they are holding.
