What makes Uno different
Uno is fast, social and surprisingly tactical. Action cards are most powerful when an opponent is close to going out, so it pays to hold one back instead of playing it the moment you can.
Watch the colours others are avoiding. If a player keeps drawing on blue, switching the colour to blue with a wild card can stop them in their tracks.
How to play Uno
- Each player starts with a hand of cards.
- Play a card that matches the top card’s colour or number.
- Action cards skip, reverse or make the next player draw.
- Call Uno when you have one card left; the first to go out wins.
Tips before you play
Hold a wild card back for the end of the round — it can save you when no other card fits.
